Who is Pete?

Pete was one of my best friends, of the four legged variety. A roaming alarm as Bodger calls 'em. For seven years he went everywhere I went. Sometimes as passenger in sidecar rigs. He's been gone for many years now, but this snapshot of him in a sidecar keeps popping up...so I decided to name my blog after my old pal. Eventually I'll get that pic scanned and in the hardrive, and upload it to the blog. Got a new puter to learn how to run, and need to get the hang of this bloggin' stuff....so...stay tuned...

  2. Bodger,I didn't zap your comment after all...just put it in "quarantine" or something!!Thanks for the comment. Oh, in about a month or so,I might have some clue about what I'm about here...I'm actually doing this on my mother's "super laptop" with the drive-in theater size screen. Can't complain about my new "mini laptop" which is wireless and portable. Just need to learn how it works. Enjoy your weekend!

Looking forward to reading what your up to, past and present. Nice of you to call the blog after your old friend.
That fruit and nut place you stopped off the other day, is that the same place that has an old pick up truck filled with grapes in the building?

  4. No problem Larry, this blog thing takes a bit getting used to at first, as Kawa says, a bit of trial and error.

  5. Hey there Kawa, you know I believe that sounds familiar...Did you pass through that area at some time? It may not be in there now, they have remodeled a few times over the years. I usually hit the facilities, and run in the back of the store to grab a soda, and then back to the highway.Next time I'm through I'll check.

  7. Hello GBC, Yes, I intend to blog with a degree of regularity. New computer is great, but of course problems with the service provider, which I'm hoping to iron out soon. Need a scanner to deal with old pre-digital shots. Have fun on the slow ride in the boonies.
