A FEW PICS FROM SAN JOSE 2010
Forgot I had these in my camera still. I missed this years show, but have hundreds of pics from last year. Of course my camera decided to malfunction and took lots of out of focus pics. (I can hear the voice of my mountaineering/ski partner..."...it's a poor craftsman who blames his tools...") Figured I'd see if I could manage to post some. At some point I need to go through them and possibly post them at one of the "viewing" sites and learn how to link it all up.Last years celebrity guest was Craig Vetter, who gave a nice talk about his BSA Triple. A Victor for you Bodger.

Great shots Larry. Like the Victor (of course) and the shot of the British bikes. They look really well taken care of.
ReplyDeleteWhat;s the engine, looks like either a Triumph or BSA triple.
It might be a BSA, it kinda looks like it has a forward tilt to the top-end. I always thought it odd that they had different lower end castings for the two brands. The quality of the bikes is usually way up there. I'll probably post afew more pics of that show here, especially ones of triples...and a cub or two for you know who...
ReplyDeleteSome nice Triples there Larry, the racer looks like it should be in my shed :-)
ReplyDeleteThe engine, would say a Rocket 3, T160 had left hand gear change. It has centre plug converted head, you can see the blanking plug for the original spark plug location, and big Amals... must be a race engine
